duke's mayo: tubby
Every December, Duke’s Mayo sponsors the Duke’s Mayo Bowl——a mid-tier college football bowl game in Charlotte. They wanted to create a physical mascot that could interact with the schools’ mascots during the Mayo Bow and be used as a standalone character on social.
So we created Tubby.
And yes, that is me in the costume. (I’m not kidding)

LAUNCH
We introduced Tubby to the world by having him “hack” all of Duke’s’ socials.
In between the “latest sleep paralysis demon just dropped” comments, there was an overwhelming amount of love for Duke’s deranged new mascot.
And so, Tubby was officially born.
POST LAUNCH
Since his debut as a niche viral sensation in 2022, Tubby has become a plush toy, was elected mayor of Asheville, North Carolina for a day, and has even been inked into a person’s skin for all time.
